A very rich Retrospective programme (2000) which features glimpses of Sydney Dance Company’s repertoire spanning a quarter of a century under the artistic direction of Graeme Murphy AO and Janet Vernon AM. Superb photography and historical background with a comprehensive listing of works from 1971 to 1999. A true collector piece to which the B&W programme of the Gala Performance insert will also be added.

Program on a very successful work by Graeme Murphy – both a celebration and fusion of dance and piano. Close to Murphy’s heart, Grand is dedicated to the life of his mother Betty. Murphy has been greatly influenced by music for piano and creates a stunning visual representation for a diverse collection of pieces for this beautiful instrument. (very good condition).

The Shakespeare Dances (1991)
6 x choreographers (Graeme Murphy, Gideon Obarzanek, Stephen Page, Kim Walker, Adrian Batchelor, Alfred Williams) created dance works drawing inspiration from Shakespeare’s immortal plays, neatly tied together by the participation of actor Luciano Martucci. Remarkably, this work was selected by French producers to tour venues across France.
