‘Seven Impossible Pieces for Four Dancers’

& ‘Departure’ – Australian Dance Artists

Australian Dance Artists in collaboration with Ken Unsworth

A 60 min video by Philippe Charluet on Seven Impossible Pieces for Four Dancers , a collaboration between Australian Dance Artists (ADA) and renowned sculptor and installation artist Ken Unsworth. Anca Frankenhaeuser, Patrick Harding-Irmer Anca, Susan Barling and Ross Philip with ADA founder and dance educator Norman Hall, responded to Ken’s request to make this work “pure dance“ to challenging music commissioned from Jonathan Cooper and beautifully played by himself, Claire Edwardes, Genevieve Lang, Jason Noble, James Nightingale & James Wannan.

Each section magically lit by Roderick van Gelder and costumed by Emma Kingsbury.
